HEATED FLOORINGHeated floor for an increased thermal comfort

The comfort offered by the heated floor renders a uniform heat distributed all over the surface. Thus, by installing the heating cables, the same level of warmth is obtained in any part of the room, as the heated flooring proves the ideal solution for an increased thermal comfort. The heat source goes upwards, therefore this is felt primarily at the feet level, which once heated ensure a pleasant warmth throughout the body.

AESTHETIC CRITERIA AND ECONOMICAL EFFICIENCY

The heated floor method is also an aesthetic alternative to pipes, radiators and other components that are specific to the traditional heating system. Also, it also ensures lower bills which mean great savings especially during winter. We are at your disposal with customized solutions for floor heating according to the type of the room, all the way from the design phase to the execution stage.

DEFROSTING Roof defrosting systems for frost preventing

Part of the complete solutions in different areas of activity, de-icing services are designed to successfully remove ice layers that form on different surfaces during the winter. In this regard, de-icing systems, which are similar to floor heating ones, are installed on the surfaces where hoar, ice or snow need to be prevented which may represent a real danger to people or may hinder different simple activities. These services are available for steps de-icing, roof defrosting, ramp and access de-icing; thus you have the guarantee of the highest performance in the industry, built following the highest standards.

DEICING FOR COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL SPACESDe-icing systems can be installed in any area where safety comes first and where the effects of ice, hoar or other low-temperature effects need to be removed:

Pedestrian access areas: entrance stairs, alleys, sidewalks

Access areas: ramps, alleys

Terraces

Balconies

Driveways, courtyard

Pipes, ducts, gutters and downpipes

Roof areas

Comfort heating (as a supplementary warmth source to the traditional gas heating)

Technical aspects in walkways and driveways de-icing

Technically, de-icing can be achieved by applying defrosting – heat through installing electric heating cables. Other techniques involve mechanical methods (scraping, pushing) or by using liquid substances that lower the freezing rate of water – salts, alcohols, glycols etc.

The de-icing of the driveways (car parks, alleys, pavements, stairs, exterior stairs, running tracks, loading platforms and bridges) can be done by installing electrical cables. They are installed under the asphalt or concrete, invisible and efficient. In the case of roof and gutter de-icing, electric heating cables are used and the temperature can be set manually or automatically from a thermostat. Sidewalk and step de-icing are recommended to completely avoid the risk of injury during winter.

Cables are fixed with clamps to the roof or gutters, as well as to places where there is a risk of ice or snow to form. Electrical cables and heaters are also recommended when installing de-icing systems for driveways and ramps to avoid vehicle skidding. In general, all these systems, regardless of the platform on which they are installed, determine the safety of the premises and the people. For the roof, the required installed power is 250 W/m². To prevent ice formation, heating cables must be installed at the bottom of the roof. The installation of roof heating cables is usually supported by the installation of a snow-slip prevention system.
